Job description

We are hiring for one of the largest eCommerce Companies in India.

Vendor Management: Develop deep and long-standing relationships with vendors - to drive relationships from the strategic to the tactical level Oversee seller & selection onboarding Manage the terms of business with vendors - products, returns, ordering, etc. Ensure a high share of mind from vendors. Build deep ties. Make vendors partners in driving disruptive changes for the category Develop and manage a fulfillment strategy with vendors to ensure the best selection along with optimal cost and service.

Market Understanding: Develop a thorough knowledge of the market - short-term and long-term trends Possess an in-depth knowledge of competition and vendors and the ability to influence the market Develop and implement industry best practices.

Selection and Offers: Collaborate with teams to secure the best possible selection & onboard sellers. Manage in-store promotions along with brands - make brands partners in customer communication Establish the company as the "destination of choice" for customers through the largest and greatest assortment of products on offer Drive portfolio management for the best offers and discounts for customers

Desired Competencies: Desire and ability to think like the customer Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion Highly analytical Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills Strong understanding of business Must be willing to learn Ability to connect with people across teams & levels Strong bias for Action - the company operates at a very rapid pace
