Require Operations Manager for 2*65 MW thermal power plant, Qualification: diploma/B. E / Dip- Mech / Elect
Experience: Min. 13 yrs exp and must have worked in min. 30 MW single unit plant capacity
Exp. in CFBC boiler operations is mandatory
• To coordinate with the client at site in all the matters related to the operation & maintenance of the Power Plant, in the absence of the Plant Manager.
• To lead the operation team of OEG available at site and will take care of their safety and welfare.
• To be responsible to ensure that plant equipments are operated as per the set norms and the parameters are maintained as per design.
• To actively involve in the start-up activities and trouble shooting in case of breakdowns.
• To prepare the shift schedule for the operation staff and get it approved by the Plant Manager.
• To assist the PM in approving the leave and compensatory off for the staff without affecting the plant operation & Maintenance.
• To generate necessary documents and reports and forward to the client and OEG head quarters.
• To ensure that all the shift staff are maintaining required log books as per the approved format for the day to day works carried by them.
• To arrange all the inputs required for the smooth operation of the Plant like , chemicals, coal, water , spares, consumables, lubrication oil, grease, etc are arranged in time.
• To take necessary efforts to cut down the cost of production by efficient operation and effective utilization of all the available resources.
• To arrange regular inhouse trainings for the staff to keep them updated on the modern trends in operation and maintenance
• To analyze the cause for all the trippings and make trip report for every tripping duly suggesting the preventive action to be taken to avoid recurrence of such trippings in future. Similar study will be made for all abnormal occurrences.
• To raise necessary defect reports to the maintenance Staff duly indicating the priority..
• To issue necessary work permits to the maintenance staff for the preventive maintenance works & corrective maintenance works. On completion of the works the permits shall be cancelled by him when they are returned by the maintenance staff.
• To maintain good relationship with all the staff and try to redress their grievances to keep their morale and motivate them.
