As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate & Investment Banking's Electronic Trading group, you will join a global team with a presence in New York, London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Your role will involve working on in-house low-latency connectivity and pre-trade risk applications, which are both client and exchange-facing. You will also cater to several internal clients. As we venture into markets for other asset classes, your responsibilities will include enhancing application latency, adding new functionalities, and improving application resilience and supportability

Job Responsibilities - Take end to end responsibilities of areas/apps, Drive projects/Complex assignments. Ability to provide overall direction, oversight, and coaching for entry-level to mid-level software engineers that work on basic to moderately complex tasks
- Design, Enhance and Develop various Market Access and Risk Management modules in C++/Java
- Ensures successful collaboration across teams and stakeholders
- Identifies and mitigates issues to execute a book of work while escalating issues as necessary
- Participating in various stages SDLC of JPMorgan Electronic Trading services. In this role, you will the design, develop, test and productize the functional requirements for Market Access and Risk Management systems
- Exhibit sound judgment under pressure in handling time critical situations
- Lead and follow Agile Methodologies and Principles
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Expertise in Application - Data and Infrastructure and various business processes
- Advanced knowledge of Software Architecture, Design, Algorithms
- Strong Unix/Linux background with expertise in TCP/IP network programming
- Strong C++/ Modern C++, Object Orientated Design and Programming skills
- Good scripting skills ( Shell/Perl/Python)
- Good knowledge of standards and Concurrent Programming
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills - Familiarity with modern Continuous Integration development practices
- Exposure to cloud technologies
- Kernel tuning and low-level system programming
- Equities, Futures, and Options Exchange Connectivity experience
