Job Title: M&O Systems Support (MOSS) Team Senior Administrator

Location: Southampton, UK / Chennai, India

What we’re looking for:

The role is Senior Administrator in the M&O Systems Support (MOSS) team in Fleet Services (FSD).

You will provide strong administrative capabilities, ensuring that tickets, issues and queries raised for MAST, LR Class Direct and eCerts are dealt with in a timely manner or escalated to the appropriate team.

The role:

• To identify and suggest improvements to administration processes and procedures and assist the MOSS Team Leader / Manager with the implementation of new administrative processes and procedures within the team.
• Deal with complex queries and build relationships with internal/external clients, as appropriate, in order to provide resolution to service problems with MAST and LRCD. This will be through the Service Now portal and MOSS / LRCD mailboxes.
• To maintain the Reference Data and Employee Workbook and update as required.
• To provide reports in Power BI as required.
• To coach other team members, as appropriate, to achieve effective knowledge transfer and application.
• To undertake any additional duties as may be requested by the MOSS Team Leader.
• Conduct all activities in line with internal procedures, contractual requirements, cost structures and budget constraints.

What you will bring

• Educated to A level standard or equivalent or demonstrated experience of working at this level.
• Previous experience in an IT systems / administrative role.
• An understanding of LR systems (MAST / LRCD) and proficiency in MS Office.
• Well organised and detail conscious.
• Good knowledge of process governance and control through process maps or equivalent and key performance indicators.
• Some technical knowledge of Classification and other marine processes beneficial.
• Adaptable, open to new ideas on ways of working with an enthusiasm to embrace new technology.

The M&O Systems Support (MOSS) Team sits within Fleet Services (FSD) and supports all users of the following LR applications - MAST (Commercial and Protected), LR Class Direct and eCerts.

These systems are vital to our clients, to enable them to access the most up-to-date information about their ships/fleets. Issues need to be resolved as quickly as possible and that is what the MOSS team does - and if they are unable to fix it, they will make sure it gets to the right team to apply the fix.

This is an interesting role, engaging with internal and external clients and working with external suppliers.
