About The Team From conducting comprehensive testing of Accedo's OTT applications to spearheading the establishment and enforcement of standards and initiatives, the Quality Assurance Engineering (QAE) team is dedicated to ensuring the excellence of Accedo's deliveries for globally renowned brands.
The QAE Vision is to revolutionize Quality Assurance into a combination of Experience Assurance and Business Assurance, achieved through the implementation of test automation and intelligent testing methodologies.
Collaborating with the QAE team offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the OTT industry while engaging with multiple platforms. Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Developers, Designers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Project Managers. Requirements What We Are Looking For : - Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related discipline
- 3 - 5 years of professional experience working with software applications. Executing functional tests, regression tests, performance tests, security tests, certification tests and compatibility tests
- Experience with testing backend, frontend and 3rd party APIs
- Experience testing on mobile devices, connected TVs, Set Top Boxes, Game Consoles, Android tv, Roku
- Excellent analytical thinking skills, problem-solving skills and love for technical challenges
- Experience in Video and media-based development projects is a plus
- Basic programming skills preferably python, Java, JavaScript.
- Knowledge of test automation - Have used test automation on projects, executed test scripts, maintenance of already built test scripts
- Experience in Versioning control tools such as: Github, Bitbucket, Azure devops and similar tools
- Good command of the English language
- Excellent team player and have worked with cross functional teams
What Makes You The Right Fit For Accedo - Hands-on experience working in an agile development environment.
- Define, develop, and deploy quality assurance initiatives across the entire software life cycle, spanning development, enhancements, and maintenance.
- Plan and execute regression testing, functional testing, performance testing, integration testing, and other non-functional testing to ensure the successful deployment of applications.
- Design and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to deliver products of exceptional quality, aligned with business objectives, on various platforms including mobile, web, smart TV, and game consoles.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional delivery team to actively discuss and address all aspects of quality during the delivery process and also understand user stories, acceptance criteria and project requirements.
- Engage with clients to communicate quality issues and establish a collaborative relationship surrounding QA for the respective project.
- Update and maintain best QA procedures and standards, encompassing test planning, test data preparation, and test automation.
- Define and analyze performance objectives, measure against data QA compliance metrics, and ensure targets are met.
- Lead quality initiatives on projects, managing multiple platforms, interacting with customers daily, and closely collaborating with developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Product Owners.
- Define the test strategy, automation strategy, and develop test scripts for UI and API automation.
- Provide input to the QA Manager/Team Lead for all QA-related activities and dependencies.
