We are seeking a motivated, talented, experienced Quality Assurance Analyst II who can perform testing of medium to high complexity Oracle RPAS Unit and Cash Planning configurations to ensure that systems are implemented and function as designed. They will partner and collaborate with project team members and the business to design/develop testing strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ensures that testing meets organization standards for compliance
- Creates medium to high complexity test plans and test cases utilizing business/solution requirements and technical design documentation
- Executes medium to high complexity test cases both manually and/or by automation
- Performs triage for medium to high complexity defects, which includes detection, risk assessment, documentation and retesting. Escalates more complex defects to the appropriate level
- Assesses software for stability
- Provides input to Lead QA on project status
- Ensures through testing the end to end solution meets user requirements
- Provides first level testing approval
- Provides QA project work estimates to the leads
- Proficient in software testing methodologies and tools
- Proficient in software requirements analysis
- Strong knowledge of QA processes and compliance guidelines
- Strong working knowledge in one of the enterprise databases and/or technologies
- Experience with a scripting language and automation tools
- Basic project management skills
- Experience of working in agile scrum teams on a large Agile Release Train
- Experience of creating excel models to validate complex data / calculations
- Proficient in Jira, Confluence and HP/ALM and Zephyr
Must have technical skills:
- Experience of testing Oracle RPAS Merchandise Planning Solutions (both unit and cash) gained on multiple implementations or JDA planning tools
- Experience of testing Oracle Cloud Implementations
- Experience of reviewing RPAS Functional design documents
- Ability to understand how planning solutions integrate into the end to end systems landscape
- 2 years of related work experience
- Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
