Location: Mansurpur Unit, Mansurpur (UP)
The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols within the organization. This role involves planning and implementing safety training programs, coordinating the procurement of safety equipment, conducting safety inspections, preparing reports, leading accident investigations, and coordinating emergency response procedures. Roles & Responsibilities: - Plan and implement safety training programs for employees in accordance with unit and regional requirements Conduct follow-up training sessions for all employees using Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) presentations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, handbooks, checklists, and formats Perform regular safety inspections across all units to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols Provide necessary training based on inspection findings to mitigate risks Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on safety activities and incidents from regional HSE staff Compile and forward monthly reports from regional units to higher management Coordinate emergency response procedures and conduct mock drills to ensure preparedness for various scenarios Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to refine emergency response plans as needed Requires Skills & Education Qualifications: B.Sc., Chemistry / Physics, Diploma or BE., in electrical, chemical, mechanical with Safety diploma in Industries safety course from any approved by Government of India institute Experience in industries such as chemicals, construction, and pharmaceuticals Specialized knowledge in Industrial Safety, preferably with a Diploma in Industrial Safety course recognized by the Government of India through institutions like RLI.Job tags
