Job description

Role :-

Responsible for overseeing the development, production, and marketing of chemical products for own products in the Crop Protection business unit. Play a key role in driving product strategy, identifying market opportunities, and ensuring the successful launch of new products.

Responsibilities

1. Product Development: Collaborating with research and development teams to identify and develop new chemical products in herbicides, insecticides and pesticides that meet market demands and align with the company's strategic goals.

2. Market Analysis: Conducting market research and analyzing market trends to identify customer needs and preferences, as well as potential competitors. Utilizing this information to make informed decisions about product development and positioning.

3. Competitive Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing the activities of competitors, including pricing, distribution channels, and marketing strategies. Developing strategies to differentiate the company's products from competitors and gain a competitive advantage.

4. Product Launch: Developing and implementing launch plans for new chemical products. Coordinating with cross-functional teams, such as manufacturing, sales, and marketing, to ensure a successful product launch and achieve revenue targets.

5. Product Marketing: Collaborating with marketing teams to develop marketing materials, including brochures and presentations. Developing and implementing marketing campaigns to promote chemical products to target customers, utilizing various channels such as trade shows, conferences, and digital marketing.

7. Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and acting as a primary point of contact for any product-related queries or issues.

8. Profitability Analysis: Monitoring the financial performance of chemical products and optimizing pricing strategies to maximize profitability. Analyzing sales data and market trends to make strategic pricing decisions.

9. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards concerning chemical products. Collaborating with regulatory affairs teams to ensure products meet all required safety and environmental standards.

Requirement

Agriculture Graduate or Science Graduate with MBA (Marketing). 5-10 years in selling technical grade products and

intermediates, preferably agrochemical products. Knowledge of

Crop Protection Market (International). Knowledge of Product and registration requirements in international markets.
