Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Underwriter SME/NBFC to join our team at GetVantage. As a Credit Underwriter, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating creditworthiness, analyzing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Qualifications And Skills - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in credit underwriting for SMEs and NBFCs
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- In-depth knowledge of credit risk assessment and regulatory requirements
- Ability to interpret financial statements and credit reports
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Roles And Responsibilities - Assess and evaluate the creditworthiness of SMEs and NBFCs
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information to make informed decisions
- Conduct risk assessments, including collateral valuation and industry analysis
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and make credit decisions
- Prepare credit proposals and present recommendations to senior management
- Monitor credit portfolio and identify potential risks and delinquencies
- Provide guidance and support to junior underwriters
