Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in Management Information Systems (MIS) Sales to fill the position of Head of MIS Sales. The ideal candidate should possess at least 8-12 years of experience in the MIS industry, with a deep understanding of MIS solutions, technologies, and market trends. As the Head of MIS Sales, you will be responsible for leading and driving our MIS sales strategy, managing a high-performing sales team, and fostering key client relationships to achieve revenue targets and business growth.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Leadership:

Develop and implement an effective sales strategy for MIS products and solutions.

Provide strong leadership to the MIS sales team, guiding them towards achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Collaborate with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Client Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and pain points to tailor MIS solutions accordingly.

Identify new business opportunities within existing clients and explore avenues for expanding the client base.

Sales Performance Analysis:

Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track progress against targets.

Identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, and recommend adjustments to the sales strategy as needed.

Market Analysis:

Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to MIS solutions.

Leverage market insights to develop compelling value propositions and maintain a competitive edge.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

A minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in MIS sales, with a proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.

Strong leadership skills with at least 3-5 years of experience in managing sales teams.

In-depth knowledge of Management Information Systems, software solutions, and related technologies.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

Proficiency in sales performance analysis and reporting tools.

Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
