Job description
Position Specific duties : Operate within an agile team and participate in all aspects of teams work of building out Ecommerce application infrastructure and platform tools/frameworks
- Help develop, practice and promote Platform Thinking' across multiple Ecommerce teams with focus on well-architected principles of Availability, Scalability, Security, Reliability, Performance, Cost, Sustainability
- Pair, Mentor and Coach team members across Ecommerce teams on 'Platform Thinking' and DevSecOps practices to ensure quality deliverable, optimal solutions and facilitation of cross pollination of knowledge.
- Leverage Cloud Computing, Analytics and Integration patterns to help create a Data driven and scalable Environment to support Ecommerce.
Required Skill :
- Proven experience in developing and delivering applications in the AWS Cloud, leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
- Proven experience of integration of security practices, tools and frameworks in DevOps framework
- Proven experience in Microservices Architecture and Event-driven microservices
- Demonstrated experience in TDD(test-driven development)
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering applications using container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering Infrastructure as Code(IaC) using tools and frameworks like Terraform and Terragrunt
- Demonstrated experience with following AWS services: VPC, Route53, CloudFront, WAF WebACL, CloudWatch, EKS + Fargate, EC2, Lambda, AppMesh, MSK, AmazonMQ, SQS, S3, RDS (Aurora postgres), ELK, ECR, RedShift, DMS, Airflow, ElastiCache
Desired Experience :
- Experience providing technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members.
- Experience collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to provide information technology solution.
