Job description
Executes the engineering and design works within budget and schedule. Coordinates with other departments and resolves engineering issues. Provides engineering inputs during all design phases. Actively communicates with other departments to optimize areas of interface during design development, review and check processes. Participates in Technical and progress reviews of projects. Familiar with organization procedures and international standards and codes.
Thoroughly conversant with analysis and design of industrial structures covering steel as well as RCC structures related to industries like hydro-carbon, refineries, petrochemicals & fertilizers etc.
Conversant with Indian as well as international design codes and standards viz. IS, BS/EUROCODE, ASCE and ACI.
Must have experience & proficiency in structural design softwares e.g. STAAD-Pro and STAAD Foundation. And working knowledge of 3D modeling & detailing softwares e.g. X-STEEL, FRAMEWORKS PLUS, MICRO-STATION, AUTOCAD etc.
Should have hands on experience in preparation of design calculations, checking of general arrangement & fabrication drawings for steel & RCC.
Knowledge of other international codes and exposure to FEM and ANSYS software.
