Job description

Overview of job Mindshare is an agency of GroupM, the world's largest media investment company and are a part of WPP . In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Sr Director – Emerging Tech to join us. In this role, you will be part of the Content+ team and single handedly be responsible for driving the narrative on futuristic tech within the agency. An individual with a knack to seamlessly connect brand narratives to tech based solutions. If artificial intelligence, machine learning, virtual reality, augmented reality, metaverse, web 3.0 and more is what gives you the thrill then this role is meant for you. In this role the individual will be expected to do the following 1). Get an indepth understanding of consumer journey across various tech platforms 2). Conceptualize tech solutions relevant to brand briefs/ideas to create unique engaging experiences for consumers 3). Work closely with the best of local and global tech partners to bring these ideas alive 4). Measure success through media and business metrics

This role reports to: Partner/Principal partner – Content+

In Three Months

In this role, your goals will be:

  • Create and engage deeply with tech partners in the spaces defined
  • Get an indepth understanding of brand and its communication spaces
  • Ideate conceptualise & pitch unique engaging tech-brand experiences
  • Get acquainted and liaison with relevant key internal and external stakeholders to drive the narrative

In Six Months

  • Introduce new emerging tech partners to the agency
  • Land atleast 3 unique emerging tech ideas on a wide variety of brands
  • Establish means of measurement on emerging tech solutions

In 12 Months

  • Deliver on campaigns aligned for the year
  • Learn from executed campaigns to drive better execution
  • Win accolades on tech campaigns executed

Minimum Qualifications

  • You have a PG/ MBA degree, Marketing, Business Administration preferable.
  • Minimum 8+ years of prior experience in emerging tech, with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Adtech, Martech, AR/VR, Generative AI, Web 3.0 etc
  • Adept in MS office
  • You have excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • You thrive in matrix environments and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders
  • You are passionate and have a quick learning mindset
