Azure infrastructure enterprise level projects that design and deploy cloud environments for hosting business application services
Working closely with application, network, and security teams to ensure requirements are reflected appropriately in the Azure design
Designing, testing, and implementing application services migrations in both a manual and automated manner
Working closely with client operational resources in updating their on-premise practices to include cloud
Develop PoC as and when required
Provide expertise and leadership regarding solutions for infrastructure and applications in Microsoft Azure
Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud computing across multiple streams
Develops technical roadmaps for future Azure cloud implementations
Ensures security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions.
Must have:
Bachelor's degree from Tier I/II colleges (Post Graduation - Good to have, not mandatory)
3-6 years of experience as a data engineer with expertise in Azure data factory, Azure data Lake, Azure synapse analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure data flows.
Must have good knowledge Data warehousing concepts.
Experience with Python scripting and SQL querying.
Understanding of data orchestration, ingestion, and curation practices.
Experience with API usage and integrations for data retrieval.
Must have working knowledge of Spark framework both on-prem and on cloud.
Ability to design and develop ETL/ELT solutions on Azure cloud.
Strong analytical &problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and business communication skills
Skill in identifying data issues and anomalies during analysis
Strong business acumen & demonstrated aptitude for analytics that incite action
Good to have:
Understanding of Hadoop ecosystem.
Understanding of CI/CD concepts with Azure Devops.
