Job Title/Role: Consultant - ForgeRock
Location: Bangalore

The Opportunity:
The Consultant is responsible for supporting delivery and support of high quality Identity and Access Management services while adhering to Simeio's standards and best practices. The ideal Candidate would have experience primarily in ForgeRock OpenIDM and OpenAM to serve as a member of one or multiple client engagement teams that assist clients in employing security information systems, resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk. Ability to take up challenges, adapt to the business needs, and staying focused on delivering results are essential to the success of this role.
At present the services fall under one of the following eight (8) categories which are delivered via Identity as a Services Solutions (IDaaS):
. Access Governance
. Identity Administration
. Privileged Identity
. Access Management & Federation
. Core Directory Services
. Security & Risk Intelligence
. Data Security & Loss Prevention
. Cloud Security
Key Accountabilities:
. Mentoring and assisting in the development of external PS delivery resource.
. Provide assistance to the operations team when issues require deployment assistance
. Provide assistance to the Sales and Pre-Sales teams around delivery/implementation questions.
. Developing resources for support of delivery engagements (e.g., report templates, delivery guides)
. Connection to authorized sources/connection through installation/configuration of connectors to destination targets with clear definition and configuration of User Attributes, experience on User, Process and Resource definition forms
. Hands-On experience with customization of ForgeRock components is a must, including connector development, writing scripts and building of workflows
. Directory services knowledge of ForgeRock OpenDJ
. Should be able to work independently as a Senior Developer/Consultant, work may require the person to lead a small team for integrating with the surrounding solution being built
. Work will require working and interacting with offshore team members
. Responsible for implementing comprehensive SSO solutions based on OpenAM to support B2B and B2C portals through identity and access management technologies
. Responsible for integrating OpenAM with various backend technologies including OpenDJ, Virtual Directories, Oracle Directory (OUD and OID), Microsoft Active Directory, and RDBMS
. Knowledge of RDBMS clustering technologies and configurations with various commercial software (MySQL, Oracle DB, MS SQL, etc…)
. Responsible for ensuring appropriate security controls are established and working as expected including data encryption and authentication standards are appropriate and effective.
. Responsible for migrating code and configurations through environments from development to production.
. Ensure technical delivery aligns with client specification. Work with counterparts on client team to understand and adhere to applicable technical standards.
. Work closely with project management to identify key IAM technical requirements, prioritize requirements, catalog requirements, and assign them to project use cases and sprints.
. Identify, qualify and assess new and existing client relationships and opportunities.
. Participate in Proof of Concept (POC) demonstrations for clients in their vendor evaluation and selection process.
. Conduct in-depth technical IAM research, troubleshooting and performance analysis to solve issues and optimize outcomes for client deployments.
. Strong Unix / Linux skills with scripting and automation experience
Must Have Requisites:
. 4 years + of experience in IT and should be aligned with information security team building and deploying Identity and Access Management solutions, of which 1+ years of hands-on experience with ForgeRock. Should have had at least 2 full life-cycle deployments of ForgeRock and Radiant Logic.
. At least three years' Java platform experience (or any other development experience preferred).
. Use of Development tools like JDeveloper, Eclipse, etc…
. Trouble shooting skills is also a must
. Thorough in creating technical documentation of Design, Use and Test cases
. In depth understanding of Databases/queries/stored procedures
. At least four years' experience working with enterprise software in a consulting capacity
. At least 2 years System Integration and implementation experience in the Identity and Access Management space.
. Previous experience of ForgeRock Identity Platform software (or ancestors thereof) highly desirable.
. Previous experience of TCP/IP networking, Virtual/Cloud Machines and deployment automation tools highly desirable.
. Solid experience navigating in the Unix/Linux environment
. Previous experience of leading technical implementation teams an advantage.
. Experience of working within a distributed team across multiple time zones.
. Proven excellent communication - both verbal and written: your content will help support our worldwide customer base and partner network.

. Excellent communication skills
. Knowledge or Experience on any other IAM technology
. Learning agility to be cross trained
Educational Qualification:
. Bachelor's degree in mathematics or science discipline (masters preferred, Computer Science advantageous).
