Position: Sales Manager - Loan Against Property
Work Status: Full Time
Location: Kolkata, Mumbai
**Primary Objective:**
As a Sales Manager for the Loan Against Property department, your primary objective will be to drive new business development by appointing new Direct Selling Agents (DSAs) and generating referrals from the open market. You will be responsible for evaluating the financials of potential customers, engaging with them to understand their businesses and financial needs, and managing sensitive customer accounts to control delinquency. Additionally, you will ensure smooth operations within your designated territory and achieve business targets through the existing dealer network while identifying opportunities for growth.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Drive new business development by appointing new DSAs and generating referrals in the open market.
2. Evaluate financials and engage with customers to understand their business and financial needs.
3. Track sensitive customer accounts to control delinquency.
4. Select and decide the right distribution channel for the product, implementing appropriate pricing and promotional policies.
5. Achieve business targets in the designated territory via the existing dealer network, identifying new opportunities for growth.
6. Develop and maintain the dealer distribution network for the achievement of primary and secondary sales.
7. Focus on customer satisfaction by handling customer feedback and minimizing grievances.
**Relevant Skills:**
1. **Loan Against Property Expertise:** In-depth understanding and knowledge of Loan Against Property products and services, including various loan types, eligibility criteria, and documentation requirements.
2. **DSA Management:** Proficiency in managing DSAs, including appointing, training, and monitoring their performance to achieve business goals.
**Preferred Candidate Profile:**
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the financial industry, specifically in Loan Against Property.
- Demonstrated track record of successful business development through DSAs.
- Good DSA network in the given location.
- Experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on Loan Against Property.
- Proven track record of achieving business targets and driving growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of loan underwriting, credit risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in using financial analysis tools and software.
