Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Computer Operator with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team. As a Computer Operator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining computer systems, ensuring smooth operations and providing technical support. This is a full-time position based in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience as a Computer Operator or similar role
- Experience with Railway Projects is highly desirable
- Proficiency in inventory information management
- Strong knowledge of project documentation
- Ability to maintain and update databases
- Expertise in working with spreadsheets for analysis and reporting
- Experience in conducting audits and validation checks
- Familiarity with electronic document management systems
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and time management skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain computer systems, including hardware, software, and peripherals
- Monitor and control computer operating systems and network operations
- Provide technical support to user departments and resolve hardware or software issues
- Set up computer equipment and install software applications
- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity
- Maintain an inventory of computer equipment and software licenses
- Create and update project documentation, including procedures and user manuals
- Assist in database maintenance, data entry, and data retrieval
- Generate and analyze spreadsheets for various reporting purposes
- Conduct audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with company policies
- Manage electronic documents and files
- Stay current with emerging technologies and provide recommendations for system upgrades
- Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to ensure efficient operations
