Job description

The candidate will be responsible for engaging with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and policymakers to advocate for policies that support sustainable practices, address industry challenges, and foster growth within the sector.

Responsibilities Candidate should be currently working in policy, consulting/research-oriented set-up and possess the acumen to solve open-ended problems. Engage with government bodies to discuss regulatory matters and provide industry inputs on policy decisions. Able to quickly come up to speed on different ENR sub-sectors (Oil and gas, Power and utilities, Renewables, Petrochemicals, etc.) and contribute to the formulation of regulations affecting the energy and natural resources sector. Should Coordinated departmental and divisional project work with industry members. Assist in promoting policies that support sustainable energy practices and conscientious natural resource management by interacting with governmental organizations, academia, regulatory bodies, and business stakeholders among others. Provide a platform for networking, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration among industry stakeholders through planning, coordinating, and participating in seminars, conferences, and industry events. Analyzing and identifying non-members from the ENR Sector and approaching them to become Members. Revenue Generation to manage council activities.
