Position: Cognos Developer
Job Responsibilities:
- Create, enhance, and maintain Framework Manager models to support business requirements.
- Collaborate with business users to design and develop Cognos BI reports using Report Studio with data drill-down and slice-and-dice options.
- Design and develop complex reports, including sub-reports, graphical reports, and well-formatted reports according to user requirements.
- Develop and implement test plans to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Design, implement, and administer Cognos securities and BI Portal.
- Provide training and support to Cognos end-users, including information consumers and power users.
Skills Required:
- Hands-on experience with Cognos BI, including Framework Manager, Report Studio, and Analysis Studio.
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment with infrastructure, data warehouse, and business analyst resources, and communicate solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Knowledge of BI/Data Warehouse concepts.
- Background as a Business Analyst preferred.
