Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Shopify Developer to play a key role in the development and maintenance of our e-commerce platforms across Australia and New Zealand. In this position, you will be essential in creating high-quality, user-friendly experiences across multiple Shopify stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize the front-end and back-end of our Shopify stores
• Design engaging and responsive front-end interfaces, ensuring a consistent and appealing user experience across all stores
• Implement and maintain Technical SEO best practices in collaboration with the SEO team to enhance store visibility and search engine ranking
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Creative, Digital Marketing, and SEO departments, to align development with broader marketing strategies and goals
• Update Product Descriptions, Prices and other E-Commerce elements using Bulk Upload/Matrixify.
• Integrate and maintain various third-party apps, APIs, and services to enhance functionality and user experience across different stores
• Ensure seamless integration and consistent performance between front-end and back-end systems across all platforms
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices
• Proactively address and resolve any Shopify development-related issues, maintaining high uptime and performance for all sites
• Provide technical support and mentorship to other team members as needed

This Role Requires:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in Shopify development , including both front-end and back-end
• A portfolio showcasing your contribution to multiple Shopify stores
• Proficiency in server-side languages (e.g., Ruby on Rails, Python, Node.js) and Shopify's Liquid template language
• Solid knowledge of Technical SEO principles and their application in e-commerce settings
• Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Strong experience in database management and familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar databases
• In-depth understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
