About The Team

This apprenticeship position is part of the CorSo Operations organization, which has overall responsibility for the activities of Business Services, Claims Operations & Technical Accounting functions for APAC. The team consists of diverse talent with solid performance culture. The team management is very supportive of involvement in beyond work activities like CSR, Toastmasters Club and Sports etc., which highlights the wholistic development of talents in the team.

About The Role

The apprentice is accountable for effectively handling of operations tasks that includes Business Services; Claims & Technical Accounting for the allocated portfolios and ensuring targets are met with quality output within the defined turnaround times, through adequate understanding of insurance/reinsurance accounting principles.

Improvising & upskilling while working within a set framework of policies and processes is essence to the role.

The Operations Apprentice, will primarily be responsible for-

  • Handling of Submissions, Costing & Renewals
  • Administration of the Low touch claims
  • Creation and handling of new claims (All segments/lines of business)
  • Timely cash flow management from/to external parties
  • Timely and accurate processing of data in admin system

Desired

About You:

  • Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Insurance & equivalent field.
  • Strong written, communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Good Data analytical skills. Expertise in advanced excel will be an added advantage.

  • Basic understanding of Insurance/Reinsurance Value Chain
