As a Civil Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating civil construction activities within our pipes and tanks manufacturing unit. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities, including site preparation, foundation construction, structural steel erection, and concrete work. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel. Monitor construction progress and provide regular updates to the project manager or relevant stakeholders. Conduct quality inspections to ensure that workmanship and materials meet established standards and specifications. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily progress reports, material quantities, and manpower allocation. Resolve any construction-related issues or conflicts that may arise during the project execution. Implement cost-effective measures to optimize construction processes and minimize expenses. Train and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and capabilities. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to review construction plans and specifications. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field. Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor in the construction industry, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and building codes. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team of construction workers. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure. Familiarity with construction management software and tools is a plus. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
