Job description
Location: Bengaluru, Ahmedabad
Experience: 8 to 12 Years
Technical Stack: B2B SaaS, Technical Product Development, Worked on Solutions - GTM, Pricing, Positioning, Product Platform, Stakeholder Management, Experience working with cross-functional teams
Specific Responsibilities:
- Developing and delivering a comprehensive solution that solves a specific business problem or set of problems.
- Work cross-functionally with teams - customers and internal stakeholders to understand the customer's business needs and pain points, identify gaps in the current solutions, and develop a solution that addresses those gaps.
- Define the go-to-market strategy, pricing, and positioning of the solution.
- Defining the product capabilities for data ingestion, data security, data governance, data modelling & data analytics with metadata and API-based extensibility for Milestone Presence Cloud Platform.
- Defining the administration and setup experience for Milestone Presence Cloud Platform. ∙ Work with other Milestone cloud products to light up end-to-end use cases based on data integrations.
- Collaborate with several internal stakeholders with conflicting needs and require strong product leadership to ensure alignment, consistent design principles, and adoption from other teams.
- Collaborating with Platform R&D teams to drive necessary platform requirements and dependencies.
- Interact with customers across all business units and functional groups to understand pain points and collect requirements.
- Build and own both the high-level roadmap and detailed delivery plans for Milestone Presence Cloud Platform.
- Manage prioritisation of new functionality.
- Define success criteria for roadmap items and demonstrate measurable impact on those success metrics.
- Evangelize MPC Platform design principles throughout the company, Establish strong cross-functional relationships, Influence key organisation stakeholders, and lead change. ∙ Serve as a product owner on the scrum team(s) and work with engineers to deliver a quality product on time.
Position Requirements:
- The candidate must be solution-oriented and should focus more broadly on solving a problem and how the product interacts with other solutions.
- Should not focus solely on product and take a more holistic approach to problem-solving.
- Should work cross-functionally with other teams and align on key strategies, encompassing all the components of a solution.
- Expertise in building a cloud service from scratch and scaling it to millions of users.
- A deep understanding of building App Platforms, including metadata, custom objects & fields, APIs, and Setup.
- Experience building data-driven products is required.
- Experience with Applied ML/AI solutions desired.
- Able to communicate a deep knowledge of product development and deep dive into more data flow, process, etc.
- Understanding of secure software development lifecycle from coding to deployment
- Proven ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute a plan.
- Well-developed management and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to excite and lead others.
- Excellent organisation and communications skills, with experience communicating across groups with varying degrees of technical background.
- Experience presenting to executive leadership and handling sensitive customer escalations.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as per the below details:
- Proven track record of working in an engineering role initially (minimum 2 years) and later transitioning into a product management role (minimum 4 years)
- Combined experience working in engineering teams and in product management with expertise in SaaS or PaaS environments.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science.
- MBA Preferred
