Junior/Lead Data Scientist
Experience: 5-11 years
Job Mode: Full-time

Job Summary J
As a Data Scientist you are expected to have a solid understanding of core Data Science concepts and techniques and be able to apply them effectively to solve complex business problems. This role usually involves working with large datasets, performing data analysis, developing statistical models, and building Machine Learning algorithms.
Junior Data Scientist Responsibilities: - Analyze large, complex datasets to extract insights and decide on the appropriate techniques to be used.
- Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms, and conduct A/B tests to assess the effectiveness of these models.
- Present information using data visualization techniques.
- Collaborate with different teams (e.g., product development, marketing) and stakeholders to understand business needs and devise possible solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends in data science.

Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, data science or related field.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or R.
- Experience in SQL and familiarity with databases like snowflake, oracle
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or similar.
- Solid understanding of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms and hands on experience with Machine Learning/Statistical techniques, including Regression, Classification, Ensemble Methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with any of the cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Proficiency with relational data modelling
Desired Skills: - Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Exposure to big data platforms like Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and explain complex results to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for accuracy.
- Experience training / fine tuning and deploying open source LLM's
- Experience with Langchain , RAG, VectorDB
- Proficiency in LLM models like GPT-4, BERT, etc.
Responsibilities: - The Senior Data Scientist is responsible for end-to-end data science solutions for our data products.
- Lead the design and development of predictive models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value extraction from the data.
- Work closely with business leaders to understand and define data analytics needs and translate these into technical requirements.
- Present complex results and insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members and guide their work to ensure high-quality results.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in data science.
Lead Data Scientist Job Requirements: - Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a data science or related role.
- Proficiency in Python or R
- Has experience with traditional, as well as modern Machine Learning/Statistical techniques, including Regression, Classification, Ensemble Methods, Deep Learning
- Demonstrated prior experience in productionalizing the ML models and experience with MLOps platform like Datarobot.
- Strong experience with SQL , knowledge of database structures.
- Proven experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or similar.
- Demonstrated prior experience in NLP, large language models, or generative AI
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Have applied industry experiece in NLP/NLU, Forcasting and Anomaly detection solution development.
- You have experience with deep learning library like TensorFlow and/or PyTorch as well as experience with Spark and/or Hadoop.
Desired Skills: - PhD in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in leading data science projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent knowledge of theory and practice of deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, or computer graphics
- Technical backgrounds in deep learning, experience in areas like LLM pretrain; interpretable LLM; LLM evaluation; responsible LLMs; LLM alignment are preferred.
- Experience with one or multiple areas of generative AI technology stack including prompt engineering, guardrails, vector databases, advanced RAG, LLM hosting, Text-to-SQL, and fine-tuning.
- Experience with LLM application evaluation strategy and interpretability, fairness and security of LLMs.
- Experience designing and implementing capabilities to support MLOps of LLMs and vertical integration with enterprise application.
