Job description

Responsibilities
- Engage in activities for hardware design and product development including system architecture circuit analysis components selection BOM maintenance schematic capture and PCB layout to meet all physical and electrical requirements.
- Understand existing designs and improve upon them based on new product requirements and component availability.
- Validate design for high reliability performance and robustness and conduct all required functional and compliance testing.
- Provide support to the embedded firmware and software team to help build highquality software.
- Prepare bench and system test strategies for serial production of units.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Electronic Engineering Computer Engineering or a related field
- 3 years of experience as an Embedded Hardware Engineer
- Proficient in requirement gathering schematic design PCB design DFM and debugging for complex products
- Experience with microprocessors/microcontrollers (eg STM32) sensors power supplies and firmware development
- Understanding of communication protocols such as SPI I2C CAN and LoRa
- Familiarity with electrical design considerations such as highspeed signal routing and EMI/EMC as well as knowledge on shielding concepts.
- Strong documentation skills including the ability to create clear and comprehensive design documents schematics and bills of materials (BOMs)
Desired Skills
- Experience in performing simulation/analysis in PSpice/LTSpice.
- Proficient in C/C
- Familiarity with embedded development tools such as Eclipse Git and JTAG debuggers
- Experience in developing and testing electronics hardware and software right from paper to prototype (end to end understanding of project lifecycle)
