About The Job Responsible for the Finance function encompassing accounting review, statutory reporting and treasury activities for India. This role has a comprehensive and holistic view for India including the overall accountability for financial statements per statutory (HB1) and IFRS (HB2) laws and regulations and ensures at any time the internal and external compliance. This role ensures an effective and efficient cooperation with the Global Business Services (GBS) team to deliver the right solutions for the business in INDIA.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaboration
- Collaborate and coordinate with the GBS Hub & Spoke Accounting colleagues to ensure an efficient and smooth workflow and ensure accurate accounting.
- Be role model for active cooperation amongst the Business partners and ensure cooperation and attention are professional and consistent across all areas of the business.
- Accounting operational efficiency
- To coordinate with Hub and Spoke to ensure all financial transaction records are maintained and accurately entered accounting system efficiently, and in accordance with Local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), IFRS and Group Reporting guidelines.
- Accountable for the final closure and sign-off financial statements according to accounting stands and IFRS laws and regulations creating a comprehensive commentary based on sound financial analysis for India.
- To manage Statutory audit, internal audit, ICFR and group audit for India including ensuring inventory checks and the financial statements as per the timeline.
- Accountable for the preparation of the financial forecasts (Budget, RFC) and prepare variation analysis reports.
- Preparation & presentation of management reports for their decision making (P&L, Profit Contribution, Sales Variances etc.) as per the desired formats.
- Manage treasury operations including cash flow management definitions and decisions of India.
- Ensure that all processes are defined fully compliant with internal policies (e.g., DAL, Procurement, internal controls, expenses).
- Ensure that the company insurances as well as local insurances procedures, documentations are up to date, changes incorporated and approved.
- To coordinate and liaise with the insurance brokers for the renewal and update of insurance policies.
- To ensure strict adherence for both internal and external deadlines
- Collaboration with business partners with regards to compliances matters
- To participate in corporate projects go-live
About You We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:
- CA qualified
- University degree/Education, preferably in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Finance/Accounting role
- Knowledge in SAP
- Plan and organize in a way that tasks and activities are delivered on time, considering potential bottlenecks. Understands when to involve decision makers to accelerate decisions
- Ability to be pro-active in discerning requirements for both internal and external customers
- Demonstrate ability to build and maintain productive and cohesive relationships with peers and cross-functional teams.
- Clear picture for career development with strong potential ambition will be a plus
