Key Responsibilities:
Store Layout and Design:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product offerings, marketing strategies, and sales goals.
- Develop and present store layout designs that align with the brand's image and target audience.
- Utilize CAD software or similar tools to create detailed floor plans, fixture placements, and shelving arrangements.
Visual Merchandising:
- Work with visual merchandisers to ensure that product displays and signage align with the brand's visual merchandising standards.
- Create visual merchandising plans that highlight key product categories, new arrivals, and promotions.
Fixture and Display Planning:
- Select and design fixtures, shelves, and display units that enhance product visibility and accessibility.
- Optimize the placement of fixtures to maximize space usage and customer engagement.
Customer Flow Management:
- Design layouts that facilitate smooth customer traffic flow and easy navigation through the store.
- Implement strategies to reduce congestion and bottlenecks during peak shopping times.
Space Optimization:
- Continuously analyze sales data and customer feedback to make adjustments to store layouts and product placement for improved sales performance.
- Ensure that the retail space is utilized efficiently, reducing unnecessary clutter and promoting a clean and organized environment.
Compliance and Safety:
- Stay updated on safety regulations and ensure that all designs and layouts comply with relevant codes and standards.
Budget Management:
- Collaborate with procurement teams to source fixtures and materials within budget constraints.
- Monitor expenses related to store planning projects and work to stay within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other design tools.
- Experience in retail space planning and visual merchandising.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of the beauty industry, product trends, and customer preferences is a plus.
