We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Human Resources, to lead our HR department from the ground up for our new regional office in Lucknow. This is a pivotal role for someone who has a passion for building HR frameworks that align with organizational values and local needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in startup environments, with expertise in developing and implementing HR policies, designing hiring and training processes, overseeing compensation, and fostering employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Policy Development and Implementation: Create comprehensive HR policies and procedures that reflect the company's culture and comply with local regulations. Ensure these policies support our employees' needs and the company's strategic objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Design and implement effective hiring strategies to attract top talent. Oversee the recruitment process, from screening to interviewing, to ensure we hire individuals who align with our values and have the potential to grow with us.
  • Training and Development: Develop a robust training and onboarding program for new hires. Identify ongoing training needs and opportunities for employee development to enhance skills and performance.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Design competitive compensation and benefits packages that attract and retain talent. Regularly benchmark company packages against industry standards to ensure competitiveness.
  • Employee Engagement and Retention: Create and implement strategies to engage employees and build a positive workplace culture. Address employee grievances, promote work-life balance, and foster a supportive and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' HR experience, with at least 3 years in a management role within a startup environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in building HR departments and systems from the ground up.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to design and implement creative HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
