Firmware Engineering You help the team to deliver their best leveraging your personal experience and industry best practices coupled with insights you gain from the team.
The leader who fills this role will possess a strong understanding of electronics (EE) and firmware (FW) engineering best practices and team leadership with the ability to apply that knowledge to elevate the team, increase collaboration, and invigorate innovation.As an Engineering Manager, you will: Maintain design control for all electronics and firmware embedded in the portfolio ensuring performance, health, and compliance of products over their lifecycles. Deliver major and minor product revisions, standardization, obsolescence management, cost reduction, and quality improvement initiatives Partner with other engineering leaders to deliver on product portfolio priorities. Establish and develop a global electronics and firmware product engineering team across sites and product lines WHO YOU ARE: You scan the environment for new technical skills, knowledge, or capabilities that can benefit team performance. You push yourself and helps others achieve results through coaching, feedback, exposure, and stretch assignments. You establish common objectives and a shared mindset within your team You are effective in a variety of communication settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, and among diverse styles and position levels.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Bachelor s degree in electrical / electronic engineering or related study 9+ years of electronics-based product engineering.
