Technical Support Engineer

Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Being together with our GM to visit customers to provide product and technical support, and follow up for any actions raised in the meeting

2. Proactively learn product /technology from headquarter, understand end customer's requirement, and can work out comparison and know how to approach customers for value added

3. Participate in Exhibition and conduct a technical presentation to customer/ distributors

4. Participate in a technical evaluation, can use data to provide data convinced report, good skills on PPT presentation

5. Conduct training to distributors and end customers

6. Provide consultation services to customers/distributors on any AOI programming by TeamViewer remote or at customer site

7. Troubleshoot and repair equipment, applying own knowledge and experience to resolve problems

8. Write detailed reports of problems encountered, tests performed, and work done

9. Listen, understand and convey customer requirements and implement any necessary corrective actions

10. Feedback and work with internal team on quality and design related issue

11. Follow up on the AR closure to resolve customer system problems

12. Improve on customer support's plan and build good customer relationship

13. Ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Mechatronic / Electromechanical, Electrical / Electronic, Industrial) or equivalent

2. Well oral expression with self-driven motivation

3. Pleasant personality with the customer-oriented mindset

4. Fluent in English (spoken and written)

5. Good team player and multitasking capabilities

6. Possess own transport & willing to travel domestically 50% of the time to support customers.
