Job description
- We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Social Media expert to join our team
- In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts
Roles Responsibilities:
- Influencer marketing: working closely with an agency on concept and execution
- Define the most important social media KPIs to increase brand awareness and increase engagement
- Social Media Strategy Development: Collaborate with the internal and external teams to develop innovative social media strategies aligned with company objectives and target audience preferences.
- Content Creation: With the larger team, conceptualize and produce engaging content including, but not limited to, images, videos, GIFs, and infographics for social media posts.
- Platform Management: Manage and maintain active presence across key social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube), ensuring consistency in brand messaging and image. Ensuring content is curated to suit different channels/platforms.
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimise social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, increase engagement, and support marketing initiatives.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media metrics and track the performance of campaigns using analytical tools. Provide regular reports and insights to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay Updated: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging social media platforms, and best practices in digital marketing to continuously innovate and optimize our social media efforts
- Content Calendar creation: Work with internal external stakeholders Performing content audits to assess how well existing content is performing, identifying content gaps, and determining what type of content is missing and what is needed. And creating, adjusting, and managing the calendar based on business and team goals.
Education and Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- Experience in a social media or digital agency
- Excellent knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Youtube, Google+ and other social media best practices
- Good understanding of social media KPIs
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
