Job Overview We are hiring a Mechanical And Maintenance Officer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team at Plantrich Agri Tech Pvt Ltd. As a Mechanical And Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our machinery and equipment. This is a full-time position based in Kottayam, Kerala, India.
Qualifications And Skills - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair
- Proven knowledge of maintenance management principles
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery
- ITI certification or equivalent in mechanical trade
- Experience in the food production industry, especially in spices, is preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Roles And Responsibilities - Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services
- Monitor and control inventory of spare parts and supplies
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Train and supervise junior maintenance staff
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
