Operations Manager- Plant

Job Overview: As an Operations Manager in a machine manufacturing plant, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the efficient production of machinery. You will lead a team of supervisors, engineers, technicians, and production workers to achieve production targets, maintain quality standards, and optimize manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments such as engineering, procurement, quality control, and logistics to streamline operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Position Based at:

Greater Noida

Experience:

10+ years of experience, preferably in a similar position in machine manufacturing company

Linguistic Skills:

· Fluent English

· Ability to communicate in regional language as per the working locale / region is preferred

Software Skills:

ERP, MS Office

Responsibilities:

 

The Operation Manager Manager – Plant is responsible for ensuring highly motivated Manufacturing team that successfully achieve their operational objectives on budget and schedule. Must fulfill the administrative responsibilities of a Senior Management Executive and operate in accordance with the Company’s Procedure, Policies, HSE Standards and Quality Management System. The operational responsibilities of this position include:

 

· Shall be overall responsible for the plant and its whole operations.

· Prepare and remain in compliance with IMS standards and all HSE guidelines.

· Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations.

· Develop operational controls and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

· Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping

· Prepare, analyze and issue production and performance reports

· Allocate resources effectively

· Screen, interview and manage the onboarding process of new hires

· Build and maintain a trusting & transparent relationship with employees.

· Communicate with employees about performance expectations. Give useful feedback to employees.

· Ensure company policies and procedures are being followed at all times.

· Stay up to date with latest production trends, best practices and technology

 

In addition to the above, the Employee is expected to complete any other tasks as assigned by his / her Manager.
