Job location- Bhilwara, Rajasthan
Job Description-
Develop strategic direction and department level goals with regards to overseeing functions like procurement,
Sales & Operations planning etc.
• Implement strategies to secure a consistent supply of raw materials required for the plant operations.
• Develop Demand Planning to ensure timely fulfilment of demand in geographies and segments.
• Develop Capacity Planning to ensure maximum utilization of fixed assets through applications of finite scheduling
algorithms.
• Develop and implement strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels, minimizing excess stock while meeting
production demands.
• Monitor full kit days (the number of days' worth of inventory available) to ensure uninterrupted production and
prevent stockouts.
• Identify and develop strong relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers to ensure a stable and efficient
supply chain.
• Optimize procurement processes to achieve the best cost for materials, goods, and services.
• Negotiate and manage bulk contracts with suppliers to optimize costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
Implement tools like reverse auctioning, rate control etc. to drive cost savings.
• Optimize freight costs by negotiating favourable shipping rates and efficient logistics solutions.
• Streamline the purchase process from indenting requirements to issuing purchase orders to minimize delays and
ensure smooth procurement.
• Collaborate with logistics and customs teams to ensure timely deliveries and proper clearance for incoming
materials.
• Oversee the export process, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers and compliance with all export
documentation requirements.
• Review actual cost incurred for the final product against the budgeted cost.
