Job description
The purpose of this role is to execute, manage and build upon DSP's content strategy.
Primary responsibilities:
- Manage DSP's written, video & audio content library and develop new ideas to drive DSP's content strategy forwards- from conceptualization to execution.
- Harness organic and inorganic distribution plays to amplify reach and consumption.
- Help drive conversions in terms of high-quality traffic or leads where possible.
- Monitor & track content metrics, report performance against set goals & share insights to improve.
- Operational coordination & collaboration with external partners and internal teams (relationship management/ billing/ compliance checks etc).
- Assist in budget planning & maintain monthly tracks.
Knowledge required for the role:
- Impeccable English grammar: spoken and written.
- Understanding (or interested in) consumer behavior and psychology in the context of money.
- Good understanding of (or interested in) money management, investing & mutual funds.
- Awareness about different kinds of content (fit for purpose) & emerging content trends.
- Well versed in social media (especially LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Quora).
Skills required for the role:
- Ability & desire to simplify complex stuff and make it interesting, relatable and palatable.
- Passion for content creation and a track record in managing multiple content streams independently.
- Ability to harness the power of generative AI and/ or similar content generation strategies.
- Entrepreneurial mindset to do more with less with excellent project management skills.
- Creative flair with an ability to craft compelling, supporting copy or visual ideas independently.
- Understanding about content production ecosystems & distribution ideas.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle pressure well.
Outcomes expected from the role:
- Increase brand DSP's visibility through the hook of interesting & powerful content.
- Help develop affinity for brand DSP among MF investors.
- Streamline content projects & connected processes.
- Enhance performance of DSP's YouTube, Blog, Podcast & social media platforms and generate significantly higher 'opportunities for business' (leads/ traffic/ engagement).
- Improve content visibility and placement on DSP's owned channels and collaborate with business teams to help create focused content when needed.
- Implement improved feedback mechanisms for DSP investors.
Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in English/Mass-Communication/Journalism or higher
Years of Experience:
- 5 years of content creation/production/management experience at a brand/ publisher/ agency
