The Baker Hughes Cloud Security Engineering team is responsible for the cyber-security engineering and data protection for our global organization. We focus on ensuring the security and improvement of our cloud security automation and implement policies across the business.

As part of the Baker Hughes Cloud Security Engineering team, this individual will contribute to the definition and implementation of the next generation of Cloud Security tools and policies for the company. This individual will integrate with new and existing initiatives in Baker Hughes to drive the Cybersecurity requirements and policies from design through implementation.

As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Defining, building, and deploying cloud security automation infrastructure and tooling
• Implementing requirements in accordance with the Security Architecture team
• Researching, implementing, and scaling innovative cloud security solutions
• Driving the mitigation of existing risks in Baker Hughes' cloud environments
• Defining and operationalizing Cloud Security strategy & policies and identify new technologies and solutions to accomplish to-be functionality
• Developing automation to manage corporate and customer-facing platforms
• Leading integrations across multiple tenants using infrastructure-as-code
• Collaborating with Cybersecurity Architects and Engineers to implement new functionality in the cloud.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 'STEM' Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). A minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Be an Expert in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Javascript.
• Be v ery proficient with software development/engineering. Be able to design, test and implement solutions through code and programming languages like Python or Java.
• Be an Expert in infrastructure-as-code frameworks (Terraform, Cloudformation, etc.)
• Be an Expert in AWS and architecture (especially IAM and compute services)
• Be adept at deploying and running infrastructure in multi-cloud environment
• Be adept with cybersecurity frameworks (i.e., NIST, CSA CCM)
