Job description

The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, be able to roll up their sleeves, prioritize multiple projects while meeting goals
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated and a team player with a very strong working knowledge of US GAAP
In addition, the candidate will develop strong working relationships with cross-functional partners and various levels of management

What s in it for you

Review/Approve revenue contracts to ensure sales contracts are in compliance and accounted for in accordance with ASC 606
Review and preparation of monthly revenue accounting activities, including but not limited to the preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis
Work closely with Finance, Legal, Sales, Sales Operations, FP&A and various business owners on policies, processes, and programs to help drive key initiatives and process improvements.
Drive integration and onboarding of new acquisitions
Review and documentation of internal and maintain appropriate revenue policies & procedures and ensure they are applied appropriately.
Partner with auditors and support financial statement audits, as necessary
Support ad hoc reporting requests from the business and special projects, as needed
Lead projects related to financial systems and business process transformation/upgrades as necessary
Be a change agent for implementing new insights and process improvements in an increasingly complex environment

We d love to hear from you, if you:

Have strong technical accounting professional with a clear orientation towards leadership and delivering results.
Are CA (India) (required), or CPA (USA) (strong differentiator) with 8 years + experience in revenue accounting and team development. Clear Understanding and extensive hands-on experience in the practical application of revenue recognition literature(US GAAP).
Have deep knowledge of ASC 606.
have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have strong Excel skills; with the ability to manipulate and digest large amounts of data required
Have experience with Salesforce, Netsuite
