Job Title: Java Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java development, object-oriented programming principles, and software engineering best practices. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
2. Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
4. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects.
5. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
6. Participate in architectural and design discussions to drive technical decisions.
7. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in Java development.
8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and practices.
9. Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
10. Document software designs, technical specifications, and implementation details.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Java Developer or Software Engineer.
3. Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles.
4. Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar.
5. Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
6. Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
7. Experience with version control systems such as Git.
8. Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
9. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
10. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
11. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
2. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
3. Familiarity with front-end development frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
4. Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
5. Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
6. Knowledge of security principles and best practices in software development.
