Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive located in Coimbatore. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for new business development, lead generation, account management, and communication with clients. The Business Development Executive will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients.
Responsibilities
- Identify and Target Prospective Clients: Research and identify potential clients in the gaming industry, as well as other sectors interested in VR/AR applications. Develop strategies to engage and attract these clients.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies. Actively network and attend industry events to expand the company's presence and generate leads.
- Understand Client Needs: Conduct thorough needs assessments and understand client requirements to propose tailored solutions that align with their objectives and budget.
- Lead Generation and Conversion: Drive the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure. Proactively follow up on leads and manage the sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with the project management and development teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project initiation. Communicate client requirements effectively and provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest developments in the gaming and VR/AR industries, including emerging technologies, market trends, and competitor activities. Use this knowledge to identify new opportunities and refine the company's offerings.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management, including pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and key performance metrics. Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance sales effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development or sales, preferably within the gaming or technology industry.
- Strong understanding of the gaming and VR/AR market landscape, including key players, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving growth and exceeding targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and build strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
