Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled IT specialist to manage organizations' and its clients computer systems, including software, hardware and networks, CCTV, Biometric, PA Systems and other low voltage products.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide end-user support for hardware, software, mailing, antivirus security and peripheral devices.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications, email clients and servers.
Hardware and Software Maintenance:
Conduct regular maintenance on desktops and ensure all systems are up-to-date.
Manage software updates, patches, and security configurations.
Collaborate with vendors.
Experience in Network Cabling, switching and fiber optics structured networking.Â
Respond to service requests and incidents in a timely manner.
Investigate, analyse, and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in the related field.
* Proven experience of computer systems, including software, hardware and networks, CCTV, Biometric, PA Systems
* Strong knowledge of online computing, firewall management and web applications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with other employees and clients.
Education: Bachelor's degree related field.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Windows, Android and Mac OS operating systems.
Experience with desktop virtualization and remote desktop solutions.
Familiarity with troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
Knowledge of IT security best practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
