Job description
You will be part of the global marketing communications team, responsible for devising SM strategies and executing campaigns for all platforms. This role would suit a passionate and creative Social Media executive who will be responsible for implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence. The SM Executive will work closely with our global Digital Marketing team to craft engaging content for daily distribution across our channels.
Role Responsibilities:
- Write compelling and engaging copy for social media and web
- Develop, implement and manage social media campaigns
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Measure the success of every social media campaign
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI
- Liaise with the design team to ensure smooth execution of projects
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
- Engage with allied social media for funnelling and brand creation IMDB, Quora, Linkedin, Influencers, etc
- Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organisations mission, vision and values to inspire and proactively pitch new ideas for SM campaigns
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
- Responding and effectively engaging with the comments on each of the brand SM accounts
Candidate Background:
Experience:
1-2 years work experience specialized in social media marketing preferably for an international brand
Skills:
- Excellent command of the English language, including creativity, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively as part of an international team
- Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining a keen eye for detail
- Proven ability to build and grow social media communities
- Ability to craft and deliver copy tailored to different social media platforms
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Must have:
- A Bachelor s degree in Marketing or a related field
- Strong work samples that indicate proficiency in social media and web copywriting
- Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
Nice to have:
- Experience as SM marketer for an international brand
- Familiarity with web design and publishing, preferably WordPress
- Understanding of Graphic Design principles
- Interest in the film and television industry
