Job description
We are seeking a skilled Database System professional with 4 to 6 years of experience to join Optical Arc Pvt. Ltd. as a Mid-Level Database System. As a Database System, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database infrastructure, ensuring data security and integrity, and optimizing database performance. This is a remote position based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience in database administration or related roles
- Strong knowledge of .NET, jQuery, Microsoft SQL Server, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and C#
- Solid understanding of database design principles and normalization
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
- Familiarity with data backup and recovery
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement database solutions that meet business requirements
- Manage and monitor database performance, security, and availability
- Optimize query performance and data access
- Identify and resolve database-related issues and incidents
- Develop and maintain data models, database schemas, and dictionaries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and consistency
- Perform database upgrades and migrations
