Job Summary

AtkinsRealis is pleased to offer a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for an experienced Application Engineer in our Mumbai Office. As a key member of our Project Execution team, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to the requirements gathering, development, testing and commissioning of MES solutions. You will be the main point of contact for our Canada Lead Project Office & building strong relationships with them. As a member of a growing team, you'll have the opportunity to develop and grow within the company.

Responsibilities

Depending on mandates, assume responsibilities as application engineer:

• Assist with preparation of budgetary estimates based on RFQ and scope of work documents provided by customer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MES and HMI solutions with existing manufacturing systems, including Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider systems.
• Carry out successful implementations in line with customer requirements, standards, budget, and schedule.
• Write technical documentation, including requirements specifications, design specifications and test protocols for SCADA and MES solutions.
• Provide technical advice and consultation to customers.
• Deploy programs on customers' systems remotely.
• Support to Go Live activities including troubleshooting and making corrections when necessary.
• Develop and deliver end-user training.
• Provide ongoing support to customers.

Exigences

• Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics engineering / computer science OR automated production, or experience deemed equivalent.
• 10 + Years Experience out of which minimum of 5 years' experience in MES Integration.
• Experience in agrifood / pharmaceutical / Foods & FMCG industries is preferred.
• Proven experience in implementing solutions using any major MES vendor.
• Programming skills in industrial PLCs (Rockwell SLC 500 and ControlLogix, Schneider, Siemens, etc.).
• Experience with industrial SCADA Applications (FactoryTalk View, AVEVA (Wonderware) System Platform, WinCC, etc.).
• Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other database technologies.
• Programming skills in one or more programming languages (Visual Basic, Java, C#, Python, etc.).
• Ability to liaise and work directly with customers, including experience of requirements gathering and on-site commissioning.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites on occasion.

Qualifications

• You have demonstrated success in project execution, collaboration with team members and customers, personal organization and working with minimal supervision. You take pride in your work, get things done, achieve results and add value throughout the project lifecycle.

The following additional qualifications and skills will be preferred:

• Registered engineer (OIQ, PEO).
• Interest in automation and technology.
• Knowledge of industry standards.
• Experience in project management.
