Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Aided Manufacturing professional at our Chennai location. The role involves programming and operating CNC machines, creating and modifying manufacturing processes, and providing training to operators. The candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machines to maintain optimal performance. Utilize CAM software to generate toolpaths and programs for CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality. Perform simulations and feasibility studies to validate manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement. Coordinate with production and quality teams during implementation stages to ensure smooth execution of manufacturing plans. Conduct regular reviews of CAM programs and processes to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to production teams during manufacturing operations Qualifications Proficiency in Programming, specifically CNC machines Experience in Machining and Manufacturing processes Ability to provide training and teach Strong problem-solving skills Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team Experience in CAD/CAM software and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.Job tags
