Job description
JOB SCOPE
This position will is highly technical in nature, require sound understanding of Plant Dairy Processes, Product Manufacturing, and Quality Parameters to ensure end to end monitoring of Dairy plant for optimum output with negligible production issues.
Responsibility Matrix
A. Testing of Raw Milk & Packing Material at each stage i.e. Raw Material (RM), In-Process (IP) & Finished Goods (FG) & Stock, Inventory Monitoring & Management - 50%
B. SOP & Compliance, Audit Implementation & Monitoring - 25%
C. Plant Complaint Handling, Plant Liasoning & redressal - 25%

Dairy Technologist will be a part of core manufacturing team of experienced and competent experts of Dairy plant processes, based on inherent capabilities, skills, knowledge and attitude will have career progression to various other specialist functions in the long term companys growth.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Ensure conducting raw milk testing as per the quality standards and processes with minimum variation.
2. Ensure accurate monitoring of processing, packaging, storage and Dispatch of finished goods and its adherence to processing parameters and Finished Product Quality standards.
3. Monitoring end to end activities from material receiving, material balancing, manufacturing, quality assurance and dispatch and ensure compliance at each level.
4. Ensure proper calibration of Testing equipments and instruments.
5. Ensure timely finished goods dispatch from the Plant.
6. Ensure compliance of milk and milk products as per the relevant rules and regulations, such as FSSAI, Weights and Measures, etc.
7. Preparing and timely submission of MIS reports to manufacturing process and Manufacturing head.
8. Resolve routine production issues in consultation with manufacturing head.
9. Monitoring the Quality and Food Safety of raw materials, Packaging materials and finished goods manufactured at third party plant location.
10. Monitoring of Packing Material requirement for production and intimation to purchase for any shortages.
11. Product quality check of Raw Material (RM) / In Process (IP)/ and Finished Goods (FG).
12. Check and prepare the FG plan for dispatch and generate reports as per the requirements.
13. Documentation of manufacturing process and preparing production reports.
14. Carrying out GMP audit periodically and monitoring product quality at the entire food chain till dispatch.
15. Understanding of ERP systems such as SAP MM and Production Module.
16. Maintaining inward of raw materials and outward of finished products in SAP.
17. Monitoring of hygiene and sanitation at the third party plant location.
18. Ensure adherence to the specifications of product manufacturing given by company.
19. Coordination with QA department for the SOP of Product quality standards and packaging material and ensure implementation.
20. Liasoning with Plant officials and Plant Owners.
21. Co-ordinate with plant for Root Cause Analysis and ensure Corrective actions for any customer complaints or deviations.
22. Ensure to fulfil all the terms & conditions of 3P plant and maintain the confidentiality of plant.
23. Any other work assigned from time to time.
Technical Skills Required: SAP, Google Drive, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Windows,
Tools Knowledge Required: Induction cooktops, Thermal processing equipment, Laboratory heat exchangers, condensers, Laboratory mechanical convection ovens, Microbiology analyzers, Bacterial identification systems, Spiral platers, Ultraviolet UV spectrometers, Centrifuges equipments (Gerber Machines), Titration Equipments.
