Job description

Having Experience as SQL Administrator as well as Application DBA (Performance Tuning, working with Dev team Etc)

Manage SQL Server database, Configure and maintain database servers and processes.
Monitor system's health and performance and troubleshooting problems.
Ensure high levels of performance, sustainability and DB security.
Capacity planning and monitoring database growth.
Experience in setting up MS SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions including failover clustering, replication, log shipping and database mirroring.
Demonstrated expertise in SQL server, database tuning and server administration .
Having exposure to SSIS, SSRS and SSAS performance tuning and Job executions are advantageous.

Work location is Kothrud, Pune.

Design, develop, optimize, and maintain Production and Non-Production SQL Server databases to ensure they meet the organization's needs.
Installation, administration, and configuration of database server/instances/databases
Monitor database performance and identify and resolve issues proactively.
Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure the organization's databases are protected in the event of a disaster!
Configure and maintain database security policies and procedures to ensure the organization's data is secure.
Work with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and develop solutions to improve database performance and availability.
Develop and implement database policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a standardized and secure database environment.
Provide guidance and training to junior members of the team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties effectively.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure the organization is using the most effective and efficient database solutions.
This is a hands-on, DBA role. You will be handling everything from basic code deployment scripts, user access and permissions, day-to-day requests from the product team, managing backups, troubleshooting database blocking, indexing, connectivity and system issues alongside IT and Engineering, upgrading/updating SQL Server including full-system migrations to new DB Servers
