Key responsibilities:
1. Content strategy: Develop and execute content strategies aligned with business goals. Drive the planning and implementation of content projects
2. Proofreading and editing: Ensure high-quality content by thoroughly proofreading and editing. Maintain consistency in style, tone, and brand voice
3. Content analysis: Analyze content performance using relevant metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement
4. Collaboration with digital and SEO teams: Work closely with digital and SEO teams to optimize content for search engines. Implement SEO best practices throughout content creation and publication
5. Client interaction: Engage with clients to understand their content requirements and preferences. Communicate project progress, updates, and gather feedback
6. Content research: Conduct in-depth content research to stay abreast of industry trends. Identify opportunities for content enhancement and innovation
7. Topic ideation: Generate creative and compelling ideas for content topics. Stay current with industry trends to suggest timely and relevant content
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Minimum 5-6 years of proven experience as a content editor
2. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
3. Strong proofreading and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
4. Proficiency in collaborating with digital and SEO teams
5. Excellent communication skills for client interaction
6. Familiarity with content management systems and SEO tools
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
