Job description

Job Profile: - 1. To co-ordinate between the industry/company & the University for internship and placement of the students. 2. Overseeing day to day placement, carrier advertisement, providing training in writing resumes, completing applications & facing interviews. 3. To project the image of the University through professional client relationship. 4. Company visit & arrangement of corporate talks for the students.

Essential Qualifications: Master’s Degree from a recognized University. Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in a recognized University or Institute. Industry experience will also be preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities -: The following are common responsibilities associated with a Director CRC: · Develop and nurture relationships with corporate houses and recruitment professionals, both in national and international markets, and industry professionals to understand their talent needs, promote collaboration, and create placement opportunities for students. · Coordinate and facilitate internships, job placements and corporate interaction for students. This includes assisting students with resume writing, preparation for selection process. · Actively engage in industry associations and networks to stay updated on market trends and job market demands. · Provide guidance and support to students in their career development, including helping them explore career options, advising on industry trends, and assisting with goal setting and action planning. · Maintain accurate records and databases of internship and job opportunities, placements, and employer contacts. Generate reports and analyze placement data to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement and produce requisite data and information as and when required. · Regular interaction with faculty, Learning & Development team, administrators, and industry experts to develop and enhance internship and job placement programs and ensure the integration of placement activities within the educational curriculum. · Cultivate relationships with alumni to leverage their professional networks and support job placement efforts. Develop strategies to engage alumni in mentorship programs and networking initiatives. · Ensure internal compliance and adherence to legal and accreditation requirements of NAAC and NIRF. · Ensuring equal opportunity and non-discrimination policies during the recruitment and placement process. Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information. · Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in career services and placement. Attend conferences, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
