What you'll do
As a Data AI Platform Engineering Group Scrum Delivery Lead, your role will combine your deep expertise in enabling Groups group to deliver against their agreed OKRs (Objectives Key Results) and specific outcomes, using Telstra s Ways of Working (WoW) with your proven domain knowledge in Data AI, and results focused approach
Through your passion for Leadership you connect, engage, and develop the teams across your group so they deliver value aligned to Telstra s strategic roadmap
You play a leadership role by partnering with the Group Owner and Product Owners to plan and deliver the OKRs for your Group
You lead the ongoing development of Agile DevOps maturity within the Group through your servant leadership underpinned by your expertise in agile, DevOps and DataOps practice implementation and understanding of the relevant technical domain
You build maturity in delivery flow for the group and teams by facilitating and providing on the tools support to team to build technical agile practices around deployment, quality and testing
You take responsibility for and drive key project delivery outcomes, and provide overall program management

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Group owner and senior stakeholders to define delivery goals and mission structure in partnership with key stakeholders.
Support the whole of business view for the Group Owner including both delivery and operate functions.
Collaborate with the Group Owner and the Group Performance Lead to distil the group strategy to prioritised mission / objectives, feeding in capacity considerations, sequencing options etc
Actively leverage your technical and delivery thought leadership to identify and address interdependencies between the overall group, team and project level plans.
Utilising your highly developed inter-personal and influencing skills to ensure that appropriate technical solutions for risks mitigation and issues, are developed and adopted by both internal and external stakeholder groups.
Facilitate required planning for the Group (Annual, QBR, Group Sprint planning) in ensuring to create a plan that is achievable and meets the business needs while protecting the teams. Highlight risk/dependencies across the Group.
Collaborate with the Group Owner and Group Performance Lead to define and maintain cross mission/group level metrics to actively and continuously assess mission deliverables against milestones, ensure that security, risk, and compliance goals are being met, and to identify and inform continuous improvement opportunities.
Drive the delivery execution for key group objectives.
Provide program management for key group objectives.
Highly proficient in Agile and project management toolsets (JIRA, Confluence .), enterprise-wide management systems, and Telstra financial management tools and systems (EPM, Clarity, etc)
Provides support and mentoring to Mission leads and team members on agile practices, mindset, and tooling.
Continually improving group consistency, cadence, and velocity.
Resource tracking and scheduling in conjunction with the Product Owners and Chapter Leads to minimise impact to sequencing and co-ordination of build, development and change work across component teams stay in sync.
Manage deployment and execution of any complex Operational and business Acceptance activity.
Partner with Product Owners and engineering to manage Post deployment issues through to resolution and root cause analysis and fix.
Financial tracking and reporting, assetisation and capitalization of capability changes.

12+ Years of Experience in Proven practical experience in an engineering environment, leading the technical delivery of complex projects, or technical delivery and agile practices with one or more engineering teams.
Should have Experience in Collaborating with 8-10 missions and their respective scrum leads, enabling the group owners with overview of group deliverables.
Demonstrated ability to credibly engage with senior strategic stakeholders (both internal and external) and work within a complex, matrixed, global environment.
Ability to have coaching conversations and guidance on career development.
5 years Minimum in Agile and Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in working in an agile environment.
Be able to communicate with impact and influence as well as drive momentum and change.
Directly Shape the development and execution of large, complex, high provide technical programs through your ongoing contributions towards defining the strategic priorities and goals for the group.
Actively leverage your program management thought leadership to identify and address interdependencies between the overall program plan (for multiple projects or missions) and project level plans.
