Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled QA Test Lead with extensive experience in both automation and manual testing to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the testing efforts ensuring the quality of our software products across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning & Strategy:
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers developers and stakeholders to ensure testing objectives are aligned with project goals.
- Define testing scope timelines and resource requirements.
- Test Execution:
- Lead and execute both manual and automated testing efforts.
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using industrystandard tools and frameworks.
- Perform manual testing as necessary including exploratory testing regression testing and user acceptance testing.
- Test Management:
- Oversee the entire testing process including test case creation execution and reporting.
- Coordinate with offshore testing teams (if applicable) to ensure testing activities are effectively managed and executed.
- Monitor and track defects working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement best practices and standards for quality assurance processes.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to developers to improve code quality and testability.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies tools and processes to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Team Leadership:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the QA team.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Lead by example demonstrating a strong work ethic attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Test Lead or similar role with a minimum of insert number years in software testing.
- Strong proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Handson experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium Appium or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or JavaScript.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
